Akshata Murty, daughter of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy, made a fashion statement at the 2024 UK general election with her dress featuring arrows pointing downwards and a red lower half. The dress is from Indian fashion brand Ka-Sha and sold by sustainable fashion store Omi Na Na. Akshata has been named one of Britain’s best dressed people by Tatler magazine in 2023.
