The United Nations has launched a new campaign, #MakeASafetyStatement, to raise awareness about road safety and reduce the number of road-related victims by 2030. The campaign features 14 celebrities, including Novak Djokovic, Michelle Yeoh, and Naomi Campbell, who have pledged their support and contributed their own statements. Road accidents are the number one killer for individuals aged 5 to 29, with the majority occurring in low- and middle-income countries. The campaign will run through 2025 and reach over 1,000 cities in more than 80 countries.
