The United Nations has launched a new global road safety campaign, #MakeASafetyStatement, to improve traffic safety and reduce road-related victims by 2030. 14 celebrities, including Novak Djokovic and Naomi Campbell, have pledged their support to the campaign. Road accidents are the number one killer for individuals aged 5 to 29, with the majority occurring in low- and middle-income countries.
