The Li brocade, a traditional textile of the Li ethnic group in Hainan, has a history of over 3,000 years and was included in the World Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2009. Liu Xianglan, a weaver from Wuzhishan, has dedicated herself to preserving this craft and has established a center and a company to promote and sell Li brocade products.
