The Queenstown Art Centre in Komani, Eastern Cape has been left in ruins due to vandalism and neglect by the local arts department. Musicians and artists who used the centre for teaching and practicing are now left with nowhere to go. The department claims the closure was due to Covid restrictions and health hazards, but the community disputes this.
